Product Description: Inspired by a Bronze Age original from Garcia's personal collection, the Le Lion breathes new life into a three legged stand. The paw foot was a symbol of strength. Rarely, however, was it the central design element-until touched by Jacques Garcia. An undulating top and a shaped edge add character. A very old idea becomes brighter, lighter, and modern. A cast resin base reduces the weight of important sculptural objects. That same weight offers worry free stability for a stand of its size. Even in resin, however, the Le Lion is heavy. Most designers will use it for a drink table, chairside.
