Product Description: The Poignet is an original Laura Kirar design, neoclassical in its history, but modern in its demeanor. For a sculptor, a graceful bow front form is the height of refinement. For Laura Kirar, the pulls offered an opportunity for something different, more jewel-like, a sculpture within a sculpture. The round look, deeply recessed to follow the wrist, creates what amounts to a shadow box for each polished ball finial. The case has nine flush drawers, each with a curved face, cut from thick stock. The standard Manor House and American Walnut finishes allow a choice between more and slightly less elegant looks. The turned, tapered, and flaring legs are a disarming element with a slight Scandinavian flavor.
