Product Description: This is a new take on a bergere. Tall curved back with sinuous arms. Tight back and seat with kidney pillow. Exposed wood banding including a framed back. Tapered legs. This is a reference to William Bottemley. a Beaux Arts architect whose work included a famous 1930s New York apartment building called River House. Bill Sofield recently did a major project there, and this chair is a variation on a small but elegant design for that assignment. Framed back invites a combination fabric.
