Product Description: The Odyssee is a reference to Homer's epic poem and the hero's circuitous voyage home. Here, Jacques Garcia returns to his own vision of French Modern furniture at its best with a spectacular marquetry top, refined legs, White Gold or Fonderie sabots, and even a decorative stretcher. This is the first time Baker's striking radial match has appeared on a small table. A radial match uses more slices in a sunburst configuration with each individual slice quarter cut for its own lineal rays. Engaged legs create the effect of a floating top and a visual capital. A decorative but functional stretcher has five facets for the illusion of less mass-with three pieces meeting in an intricate compound miter.
