Product Description: The Poignet is an original Laura Kirar design. As a sculptor, a graceful bow front form is the height of refinement. For Laura Kirar, the pulls offered an opportunity for something different, more jewel-like, a sculpture within a sculpture. The round look, deeply recessed to follow the wrist, creates what amounts to a shadow box for a polished ball finial. This design responds to the need for a diminutive nightstand-for a smaller room, pairing with a king bed, or those wanting an open look. Believing that nightstand should be able to stand alone, Laura Kirar added a shaped lower shelf and a bronze banding akin to a bracelet. Also a side table, ready for a display, in the living room.
