These interpretations honor their roots and are updated for 2012 style sensibilities. The generously-scaled pieces in the Claremont collection use blocks of solid woods to provide the ample width needed for the sinuous shaping of the dresser front and the bed. Generous silhouettes are seen throughout the collection; heavy moldings convey presence. Solid wood tops and fronts are shaped in captivating ways. A dark opaque finish with artful distressing allows each piece to have the appearance of an antique that has lived and interesting life. Antiqued hardware completes the heritage within each piece.
