Product Description: Traditional, 18th Century and West Indies design elements are very evident in this collection. Beautifully figured mahogany veneers are used throughout the collection. Shaped post turnings, many with ringed shapes and turned legs provide exciting detail. Case on case construction is used for the dresser and side posts flank the drawers. Mahogany Solids: US poplar Veneers: Figured mahogany Ring hardware in burnished brass with accent key holes Poster Bed - Dramatic turned posts begin with an egg-shaped finial at the top and descend to the foot with a series of concave and convex soft shapes separated by series of ringed turnings. The feet descend from a bulb-shaped turning that tapers as it moves to the floor. Fan-matched/V-matched veneer adorns the headboard and footboard.
